There are multiple public transport options when you come to Yadkin Valley. Although you may decide to rent a car for a day or two to go a little bit further afield, you can also rely on the public transportation in the Yadkin Valley for daily shopping trips, hikes, and excursions.

Furthermore, you can purchase reloadable rider passes for the Mocksville Circulator and Elkin Circulator Pass Route. You can purchase a pass at the local office on Main Street in Mocksville or Yadkinville and pay just $10 for weekly passes with up to 25 trips within the same week.
If you are thinking about just using a personal trip for a one-way errand or going somewhere within the town, then you can pay just $2 each way within a town or $3 each way within the county. Talk about cost friendly!
Car Rental
The second option for getting around North Carolina is renting a car from either the airport, hotel, or local car rental service. Of course, if you are coming from near Yadkin Valley, you can drive your own!
When you are driving in the Yadkin Valley, there are a few routes to keep an eye on. Firstly, we recommend driving the Yadkin Valley Scenic Byway for a fun full-day experience. Not only is this an easy way to get between towns, but the views are unbeatable. Other scenic drives to keep in mind include the Sauratown Mountains Scenic Byway, Rolling Kansas Byway, and Birkhead Wilderness Route.
Some of the major highways and roads in the area include Route 321, Route 64, and Route 221. All of these major highways connect some of the bigger cities, like Boone, Lenoir, and Newton, so you can easily get around during your stay.
