An Authentic Wedding Destination

From majestic wooded trails to breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the North Carolina country landscape, our estate is the ideal canvas for couples looking to have an authentic wedding experience. We offer a variety of settings and packages to host your special event. As a private estate, events are offered to guests lodging at one or more or our getaway cabins. Sitting 2,000 feet above the country road, our large luxury cabins make the perfect lodging choice for a mountaintop wedding. Our cabins and event space can host up to 100 guests. Custom packages available.

Wedding FAQs

  • Do you have items such as tables and chairs?

    Yes. Upon booking your wedding, we can provide our rental catalog with all the items available for rent.

  • Do you require a deposit to hold my date?

    yes. We require a deposit to hold your date for the venue and cabins.

  • Can we serve alcohol at our wedding?

    Yes. You will be required to obtain an ABC SPECIAL ONE TIME PERMIT to serve liquor. A link and details will be provided to you.

  • Can I have outside guests visit for just the wedding?

    The approximate wedding size must be provided at the time of booking to best match you with the wedding package that matches your wedding guest count. Any guests beyond the limit in your wedding contract are charged at $100/person. We allow additional guests, up to 20% of your total guest count, as long as we have received payment prior to the day of the wedding.

  • How many of my guests are required to stay on-site?

    We are a destination-style venue in a private community providing a very exclusive environment to guests visiting the mountain. For this reason, we do require that the majority of your guests (MIN: 80%) stay on-site at our rental cabins. We understand that certain circumstances can make it difficult for all guests to utilize the accommodations, whether they are local or are staying for a shorter period of time, so we have created a rate for outside guests up to 20% of your total guest count for event-only access to the mountain. The total number of guests on-site and outside does need to be coordinated prior to your event date to obtain access to the mountain.

  • How many cabins are required to rent to host a wedding?

    The number of cabins required for your wedding is based on your guest count. To book and confirm your date, we will base your package on your approximate wedding size (Ex: 75-100 guests). Modifications and adjustments can be made by the provided date on your contract.

  • Do you have preferred vendors?

    We provide a variety of services in our wedding packages and a la carte through our extended team that is familiar with the property. We also have a list of preferred/recommended vendors that will be provided to you upon booking to utilize for outside/additional services. We also welcome new vendors that match our vendor requirements.

Our team will work with yours to provide a detailed breakdown of accommodations, our selection of spacious gathering areas, and the variety of services available for our large groups to minimize the “work” behind coordinating your team getaway!

Our selection of mountaintop experiences are sure to fill the needs of any group from the fun getaways to the team building retreats.

Mountaintop Experiences FAQs

  • Is there a minimum number of participants for the mountaintop experiences?

    Yes. Experiences are available for groups of 10 or more with each activity having their own minimum requirement of participants

  • How far ahead should i coordinate a mountaintop experience?

    Preparation is key and we understand it takes some time to coordinate with a group and finalize a guest count. However, we do recommend locking in the type of experience and date as early as possible as we can modify final count and details closer to the event date.Experiences are typically no longer available to add-on within 14-30 days of event.

  • Do you require a deposit?

    Yes. We require a deposit to coordinate and confirm the added activity to your stay.

  • Can I host my own activity on the mountain?

    The mountaintop experiences we offer do require experienced instructors/ attendee and additional items to be brought in that are not included with the general rental of the cabins. We do allow some activities such as simple yard games that follow the rental agreement and house rules that are allowed in general bookings to be held by guests, but anything that requires additional structures, rentals, guests, and space outside of cabin rental must be coordinated with our team.

  • What does a mountaintop experience include?

    Each of our mountaintop experiences are turnkey. They include the coordinate and execution of the activity with any supplies and/or items and instructor and/or attendee the activity requires. All we need is the number of participants and the preferred date and time for the event to provide all the available options to you!
