What an amazing family vacation! We love Carolina Getaway Cabins and the wonderful staff here. Our new Thanksgiving tradition is on its second year and we couldn't be happier. We even catered three of our meals, including our Thanksgiving dinner, and they were so delicious and the portions were incredibly generous! Such a magical place to enjoy nature and family. We just ended our family reunion at Victoria’s Hideaway Cabin and it was absolutely amazing. The views of the mountain are stunning. The whole area is very serene and relaxing. The cabin itself was luxurious, really well decorated with high end furniture and well appointed with all amenities needed. We would highly recommend this cabin for any large gathering or just a weekend in the mountains.

Why are rentals different from a hotel room?
Our rentals are spacious, luxurious, and well furnished. It feels like you are staying in a friend’s mansion instead of a bleak and boring hotel room.

Do I have to pay the full amount at once to book a cabin?
If you are booking 60 or more days in advance, you only need to provide 25% of the total to book your stay! Details on when the remaining balance is due will show on the details portion of your booking confirmation.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! When you book 60 or more days in advance, you can provide a deposit to confirm your stay and then choose a payment plan option that works for you! Our team will provide the options available based on your booking and travel dates.

Can we pay with different cards if our group is splitting the cost?
Yes! We want to make booking your stay as easy as possible and assigning one person to collect from everyone is not always a fun task to take on. This is why we provide the option of split payments through our guest portal! Upon booking, you will receive access to our guest app where you and your group can log in to make individual payments towards the total balance, making it easy for everyone to pay their portion directly and avoid the middle man.

What does the guest portal let me do?
On our Happy Stays guest portal, the person who booked can invite additional guests so that everyone in the group can have access to the same information. Once logged in, you can view the reservation details, property details and amenities, make payments and view balance, add services, items, and/or experiences to your stay, and browse through recommended activities, restaurants, and vineyards.

What is the closest airport to the cabins?
The two main airports are Charlotte Douglas International (CLT) at 1 hour and 30 minutes & Pediment Triad International (GSO) at 1 hour and 10 minutes away. There is also a regional airport which flies Allegiant Airlines outside of Charlotte which is Concord Regional Airport.

Is there cell service?
There is cell service throughout the mountain! A few of our rentals like Amore's Nest and Lazy Bear Lodge are located near the pine forests where the cellular service may be lower depending on your carrier. You can connect and use the super-fast Wi-Fi during your stay in our luxurious homes!
